Class 10 Girl Attacked With Chainsaw in Anantapur School

A 10th-class student was seriously injured after being attacked with an electric chainsaw in a classroom at Zilla Parishad High School in Raptadu on Saturday.

The accused, identified as the victim's close relative Hemanth, was arrested at Dharmavaram railway station hours after fleeing the school premises.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed police to conduct a swift investigation, and the victim was later shifted to a Bengaluru hospital for advanced treatment.
