Hyderabad Police Book Meta India Head Over AI-Generated Posts

Hyderabad Cyber Crime police registered cases against Meta India head Arun Srinivas for allegedly circulating morphed and AI-generated content targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The FIR follows complaints from businessman S. Aravind Reddy and BJP activist T. Saikiran Goud regarding derogatory posts shared during recent Cockroach Janta Party-led protests.

Police are currently investigating the origin of the material, which allegedly included abusive language and misinformation, though no arrests have been made as of July 31, 2026.
