The entire staff at the Gamharia police station in Jharkhand's Seraikela Kharsawan district was suspended on Sunday following the alleged rape of a woman inside the premises on October 29.
A special investigation team headed by SDPO Anubhav Bhardwaj is probing the case, with 15 police personnel suspended so far and the main accused wireless operator already sent to jail.
The victim filed a written complaint on October 31 after going to the station to lodge a dispute with her husband, prompting authorities to remand the apprehended accused to judicial custody.
