Cognizant Lowers Project Leap Restructuring Costs as Headcount Rises

Cognizant Technology Solutions lowered its estimated costs for its restructuring programme, Project Leap, to between $180 million and $250 million.

The company reported a third-quarter revenue of $5.664 billion, up 4.6% year-on-year, alongside a net income rise to $627 million from $274 million a year earlier.

Total headcount reached 359,900 as of September 30, marking an increase of 3,200 from June 30 and 10,100 over the past year.
