
A total of 10,107 women candidates qualified for the JEE Advanced 2026, crossing the 10,000 threshold for the first time in six years, according to the Joint Implementation Committee report.
The qualification rate among registered female candidates rose from 21.7 per cent in 2025 to 23.4 per cent, with 43,112 female candidates registered and 40,562 appearing for both papers.
The top-performing woman candidate secured All India Rank 77 with a score of 280 marks, while 3,814 female-only seats were allotted across various institutes.
