A former security camp in Bhatpal village of Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district has been converted into a hostel for tribal students following improved security.
The facility accommodates students from remote villages, featuring a pre-matric boys' section with 114 resident students and a post-matric section with 39 students.
The initiative aims to provide safe accommodation close to the local government higher secondary school, reducing travel challenges and financial burdens on families.
