Google Releases September Android Update With Five New Features

Google's September Android update introduces five new features, including Gemini-based item tracking, Motion Assist for motion sickness, and collaborative notes within Google Messages.

Motion Assist requires Android 17, while the Gemini remembered-items feature is limited to Android 16 or later, and Guided Vision supports devices running Android 9 or newer.

The update also adds custom chat themes to Google Messages and allows users to create or edit shared Google Keep lists directly within messaging conversations using RCS.
