Anil Chakravarthy Named New Adobe CEO

Adobe appointed Indian-origin executive Anil Chakravarthy as its new president and CEO, effective December 1, 2026, succeeding Shantanu Narayen who will become executive chair.

Chakravarthy, an IIT and MIT alumnus, currently leads Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration business and has been with the company since January 2020.

The leadership change follows the departure of David Wadhwani, president of Adobe's Creativity and Productivity Business, who announced his exit after five years with the software giant.
