CBSE Prepares for 2027 Board Exams as Past Trends Offer Clues

The Central Board of Secondary Education has begun administrative preparations for the 2027 Class 10 and 12 examinations while finalizing candidate data.

For the 2026 exams, the board released a tentative date sheet on September 24, 2025, and the final schedule on October 30, 2025, before exams began on February 17, 2026.

Tender documents indicate that approximately 29.89 lakh candidates from Classes 10 and 12 are expected to appear for the 2027-28 examinations across 24 regional offices.
