CBI Arrests Two Enforcement Directorate Officials in Lucknow Bribery Case

The CBI arrested Enforcement Officer Deepak Kumar and Head Constable Manoj Dwivedi of the ED's Lucknow Zone office in a ₹5 lakh bribery case.

Investigators set up a trap and allegedly caught Manoj Dwivedi red-handed while demanding and accepting ₹5 lakh on behalf of the Enforcement Officer.

The case was registered on October 23, 2026, following a complaint regarding demands made in connection with an ED case involving two summons.
