SAD Pledges Support for Delimitation Bill After Modi Meeting

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has pledged support for the Centre's Delimitation Bill following a meeting between SAD president Sukhbir Badal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The government currently holds 325 votes in the Lok Sabha, still short of the 360 votes required for the two-thirds majority needed to pass the constitutional amendment.

SAD leaders have also demanded the immediate implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill and an equitable delimitation process that ensures equal representation for all states.
