Veteran Actor Nana Patekar Laid to Rest with State Honours

Veteran actor Nana Patekar's last rites were performed with full state honours at his Pune farmhouse following his death from a cardiac arrest in Goa at age 75.

The actor suffered a cardiac emergency at his Dona Paula residence and was declared dead at a private hospital at 5:20 am on Thursday.

Political leaders including Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis joined family, prominent film personalities, and fans to pay their final respects.
