Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal announced a new version of the 'Temple' wearable device, claiming it is the smallest and most powerful unit currently available on the market.
The device tracks a proprietary biomarker called 'Entropy' on a scale of 1 to 250, which measures real-time metabolic demand and cognitive load through the temple region.
Benchmarking tests against a standard metabolic cart showed the device's Entropy metric achieved a correlation of r=0.93, significantly outperforming heart rate monitoring which recorded r=0.55.
