Singer Shilpa Rao's performance at the Bollywood Music Project in Mumbai was abruptly halted on Saturday due to event delays and venue curfew regulations.
Organisers cut the singer's microphone midway through her set and started the subsequent act while she attempted to address fans.
The festival organisers subsequently issued a public apology to the singer, her team, and attendees, citing strict local authority guidelines.
