Veteran Indian filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao died at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Saturday night at the age of 94 due to age-related ailments.
He directed landmark films across a six-decade career, including India's dialogue-free film Pushpaka Vimanam and the time-travel epic Aditya 369.
His final project, the musical fantasy film Sing Geetham, was completed earlier this year, making him one of the oldest active directors globally.
