Actor Imran Khan and his partner, actor Lekha Washington, were detained by police in Mumbai on Saturday during protests held in solidarity with demonstrations in Delhi.
Lekha Washington shared an update from inside a police vehicle, asking followers to track their location as they were being taken away without a clear destination.
The Mumbai demonstrations, alongside Delhi protests, targeted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and demanded his resignation over alleged irregularities in electoral rolls.
