Indonesia cut 31 million standard cubic feet of gas per day from its pipeline exports to Singapore starting Saturday to divert supply to the domestic power sector.
The reductions include 15 mmscfd from Natuna and 16 mmscfd from Sumatra, which account for around 9 percent of Singapore's pipeline gas supply.
Singapore's Energy Market Authority stated the reduction totals 17 bbtud over 18 days, representing less than 2 percent of total daily demand, and confirmed importers will pursue contractual recourse.
