Russian Missile Barrage Kills 15 in Kyiv Region

Russian missile and drone strikes across the Kyiv region killed 15 people and wounded 42 others overnight into Wednesday, August 5, 2026, according to Ukraine's state emergency service.

The attacks caused major fires at logistics hubs and warehouses in Brovary, Bucha, and Fastiv districts, including facilities belonging to the retail chain Epicentr, which reported one employee death.

Ukraine's military administration confirmed that emergency crews extinguished fires in four Kyiv districts, while the company Epicentr announced it must shift production abroad due to the destruction of its ceramic tile factory.
