The High Court of Karnataka castigated the Transport Commissioner and KPSC for accepting transport corporation certificates stating candidates trained in repairing petrol-engine heavy vehicles.
The Bench observed that petrol-powered heavy goods and passenger vehicles have not existed in India for decades, making the certificates a blatant lie.
The court directed the government to issue appointment orders to affected candidates from the revised 2023 selection list within two months with full consequential benefits.
