The East Zone won the Coimbatore Corporation’s Dengue Prevention League after recording 11,84,259 source reductions between August 4 and August 14, 2026.
The city-wide initiative successfully removed 44,65,735 mosquito breeding sources, such as discarded plastic containers, across all five municipal zones.
The West Zone followed in second place with 11,04,773 reductions, while the South Zone recorded the lowest count at 3,40,741.
