Nepal Finance Minister Wagle Meets Jaishankar in Delhi

Nepal's Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle met External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi to discuss flood reconstruction and bilateral ties ahead of Prime Minister Balen Shah's visit.

Wagle met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday, where India committed continuous support for post-flood recovery after devastating August 26 flash floods.

Floods in Nepal have left more than 1,400 dead and 6,000 missing, with total reconstruction requirements estimated to top $5 billion.
