Loudoun County finalized the purchase of a 90.56-acre forested property along the Potomac River for approximately $1.99 million, or $22,000 per acre.
The site, which includes 1,680 feet of river frontage, will be developed into passive parkland featuring trails that connect to the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail.
Public access remains restricted until the county completes site assessments, design, and construction of necessary facilities, including potential canoe and kayak access points.
