Anthropic is investigating reports that private user chats with the Claude AI model have been indexed and made publicly available via Google and Bing search results.
The company stated that the issue stems from users sharing links to their chat sessions, which were then crawled by search engines, rather than a breach of their internal servers.
Users are advised to review their shared chat settings and delete any sensitive information from their history to prevent further exposure of private data.
