A man was critically injured after being shot aboard a northbound E train at the Seventh Avenue and 53rd Street subway station in Manhattan on Saturday.
Emergency medical services transported the unidentified victim to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition following the 12:21 p.m. emergency call.
New York Police Department authorities have not released the man's identity, identified a suspect, or confirmed the motive behind the shooting as the investigation continues.
