Bihar Cabinet Approves Two New Universities and Sugar Mill

The Bihar cabinet approved the establishment of two universities under the Bihar Special University Act 2026, including Mata Sita Women's University in Patna.

The cabinet allocated ₹15 crore each for the new universities and cleared a ₹500 crore investment proposal for a new sugar mill at Warsaliganj in Nawada district.

Ministers also approved ₹160 crore for the Chief Minister Bovine Development Loan Scheme, offering livestock farmers a 100% interest subsidy on bank loans.
