Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out of Sri Lanka Test Series

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been withdrawn from India's upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka due to a persistent left knee injury.

The 32-year-old bowler sustained the injury during the second ODI against England last month and failed to clear a fitness assessment at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence.

No replacement has been named for the squad, which is led by captain Shubman Gill and vice-captain KL Rahul for the upcoming series.
