The United States Treasury Department sanctioned 10 individuals and entities based in China, Hong Kong, and Pakistan for helping Iran procure weapons and components.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the administration will not tolerate any support for the Iranian regime as part of its economic isolation efforts.
Targeted individuals include Beijing-based Seyyed Asghar Alizadeh Tabatabai and Pakistan-based Waseem Pasha Tajammal, chairperson of Cavalier Group.
