Writer Aamil Keeyan Khan revealed that director Abhishek Pathak ran the production of Drishyam 3 under strict secrecy, withholding climax details from a large part of the crew to prevent leaks.
Khan noted that the Hindi writing team began crafting their own storyline following Drishyam 2 independently of the Malayalam version's draft to ensure a distinct narrative experience.
The film continued a strong box office run, reaching an India net collection of ₹176.50 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹272.80 crore within its opening days.
