Manchester City Signs Moroccan Midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi

Manchester City has signed 18-year-old Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille in a deal worth 100 million euros ($117m) on a five-year contract.

Bouaddi, who played for Morocco in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, became the youngest player to record 50 appearances in Ligue 1 and previously helped Lille defeat Real Madrid in 2024.

The transfer follows Manchester City's sale of Rodri to Barcelona and Tijjani Reijnders to Al-Qadsiah, with the club looking to replace departing midfield talent with the young Moroccan star.
