Delhi Police Assure Arrest in Jantar Mantar Assault Case

The Delhi Police assured the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) that Swatantra Bharadwaj will be arrested within 72 hours for the July 23 assault on Sanjay Kumar at Jantar Mantar.

CJP representatives stated that police agreed to add Sections 306, 326, and the SC/ST Act to the FIR following protests at the Parliament Street police station on September 4, 2026.

While CJP alleges the victim suffered a skull fracture, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Sharma stated medical reports from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital indicate the head injury was simple.
