The Health Ministry reported that over 21 crore people have been screened for the virus, with early detection identified as the primary factor in reducing mortality rates.
AIIMS experts continue to advocate for routine blood testing to ensure that patients receive timely care, aiming for the total elimination of the disease across the country.
