Ho Chi Minh City Youth Join Affordable English Speaking Clubs

Young professionals and students in Ho Chi Minh City are paying between VND 50,000 and 100,000 ($1.9–$3.8) per session to practice English conversation in community-led clubs.

The Voyager English Speaking Club, which has 45 members, hosts sessions every Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, focusing on natural dialogue rather than traditional classroom curricula.

Participants report that these clubs help overcome communication barriers and build confidence, with native speakers often providing feedback on pronunciation and vocabulary during the sessions.
