Ishan Kishan Century Leads East Zone in Duleep Trophy Final

East Zone finished the opening day of the Duleep Trophy final at 385 for 4 against South Zone at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Captain Ishan Kishan remained unbeaten on 111, supported by Shikhar Mohan who scored 85, while South Zone bowler Chama Milind claimed 2 wickets for 56 runs.

The pair shared an unbroken 144-run partnership in the final session, dominating South Zone's bowling attack after an early 100-run opening stand by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Abhimanyu Easwaran.
