Binance finance chief Kaiser Ng is stepping down after more than five years to pursue a new venture, following a record $6.3 billion crypto heist on the platform.
Justin Yek, former vice-president of finance at Airwallex, is taking over as the new chief financial officer of the cryptocurrency exchange.
The platform stated that the breach began on October 29 through malware and fake job recruitment efforts, and it has already covered 90 percent of the losses.
