Maharashtra Police registered an FIR against eight members of a right-wing outfit for allegedly assaulting four tourists at Sinhagad Fort on Monday.
The dispute reportedly began when the group confronted a woman for wearing shorts, leading to a physical altercation near the samadhi of Tanaji Malusare.
The FIR includes charges of rioting, unlawful assembly, and criminal intimidation against the eight named suspects, including Sanket Sanjay Patil and Ashish Dilip Apar.
