The Standing Committee of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation approved allotting a 978-square-metre municipal plot to Lok Sabha MP Yusuf Pathan.
Of the total plot area, 500 square metres will be transferred as a gift for residential use, and 478 square metres at a concessional rate.
Congress leaders staged a protest outside the committee hall, questioning the transparency and legality of the transfer.
