Two people were killed and more than four others injured in a multi-vehicle pileup on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan’s Kota district early Friday.
Police suspect a truck parked on the highway for nearly two days due to a technical fault triggered the accident after two speeding trucks rammed into it and a repair utility vehicle.
One person died on the spot and another succumbed to injuries at a hospital, while police used cranes to clear the wreckage and a lengthy traffic jam.
