Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, Danish band Lukas Graham, and American artist Finneas announced their departures via Instagram following the controversy.

Ed Sheeran stated on social media that Macklemore's removal was decided solely by tour promoters and that he refused to be drawn into public debates about the Gaza conflict.
