Prime Minister Narendra Modi met former India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and his family in New Delhi on Friday.

Suryakumar wore his gold medal from India's victory at the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup during the interaction.

Suryakumar led India to the 2026 T20 World Cup title after previously captaining the side to victory in the 2025 T20 Asia Cup.
