Varun Chakaravarthy Ruled Out of Afghanistan T20Is Due to Side Strain

India spinner Varun Chakaravarthy was ruled out of the remaining two T20Is against Afghanistan with a side strain, casting doubt on his Asian Games participation.

The 35-year-old previously conceded only 16 runs and took one wicket in four overs during India's seven-wicket win in the first T20I in Delhi.

Varun was directed to report to the BCCI's Centre of Excellence immediately for further medical tests ahead of the team's departure for Japan on September 18.
