A new deep depression has formed over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining Myanmar coast, the IMD reported on Monday.
The system is expected to cross the Myanmar coast by evening on September 28, moving north-northwestwards.
The threat from Cyclone Arnab has passed, though heavy rains from a previous depression affected over 73,000 people in Odisha.
