BRICS leaders adopted the New Delhi Declaration on Saturday, emphasizing stronger cooperation in disease surveillance and medical product regulation.

The declaration welcomed the establishment of a dedicated Sub-Working Group to advance an integrated early warning system against mass infectious diseases.

Leaders also highlighted the need for resilient health infrastructure, local manufacturing of medical products, and the development of a common GxP white paper.
