Boxer Sachin Siwach Advances to Asian Games Quarter-Finals, Preeti Pawar Exits

India's Sachin Siwach advanced to the men's 60kg quarterfinals at the Asian Games in Nishio, Japan, securing a scrappy 4-1 win over Jordan's Mohammad Adnan Abu Jajeh.

Siwach, who is now one win away from securing a medal, will face Japan's Shunsuke Kitamoto in the next round.

Meanwhile, last edition's bronze medallist Preeti Pawar exited the competition after suffering a unanimous 0-5 defeat to North Korea's Pang Chol M in the women's 54kg round of 16.
