Anthropic combines Claude features into unified interface and adds document tools

Anthropic announced it is combining chat and Cowork features of its Claude AI assistant into a single interface alongside new document and presentation tools.

The company is introducing Claude Docs and Claude Slides in beta, allowing users to create designs and export files to Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

The update will roll out over the coming weeks to Pro and Max subscription plans before expanding to Team and Free tiers.
