Afcons Infra shares surged up to 19.23% to an intraday high of ₹304.55 on Tuesday, snapping a four-session losing streak that had plunged the stock nearly 13.5%.
The broader Indian stock market also staged a recovery on Tuesday, ending a five-session losing streak as the Sensex surged over 400 points and Nifty climbed above the 23,500 level.
The stock rally followed heavy trading volume and reports that the RBI turned down Tata Sons' request to surrender its NBFC licence, paving the way for a potential public listing.
