Meerut and Ghaziabad Schools Closed Until August 12 for Kanwar Yatra

Educational institutions in Meerut and Ghaziabad will remain closed until August 12 to ensure safety and traffic management during the Kanwar Yatra.

District authorities issued the order to prevent congestion on major routes, as thousands of pilgrims are expected to pass through the region.

Schools and colleges have been instructed to conduct online classes where possible to minimize the impact on the academic calendar.
