
A special NIA court in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district convicted 10 individuals on Saturday for the 2013 Maoist ambush that killed 29 people, including senior Congress leaders.
The convicted include Pramila Modiyam, Chaitu Lekam, and eight others, while the court has reserved the sentencing order for September 16 following a trial involving 101 witnesses.
The 2013 attack on the Congress 'Parivartan Rally' resulted in the deaths of leaders like Nand Kumar Patel and Mahendra Karma, with the defence planning to appeal the verdict.
