Aakash Kaushik's directorial debut Udta Teer, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, opened at ₹4.10 crore net across India on its first day.
The spy comedy registered an overall theatre occupancy of 13 percent, which increased to 25 percent during night shows across 6,265 screenings.
The film marginally surpassed Khurrana's previous release Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which earned around ₹4 crore on its opening day.
