Gautam Rangarajan Appointed as UK Prime Minister's Adviser

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has appointed Gautam Rangarajan as an Expert Adviser on Structure and Process to assist with the planned restructuring of the UK government.

Rangarajan brings over three decades of experience from the BBC, where he previously served as Group Director of Strategy and Performance and oversaw the organisation's digital transformation.

The appointment follows Burnham's pledge to decentralise political power from Whitehall and establish a new 'No.10 North' hub-office in Manchester, leveraging Rangarajan's expertise in corporate strategy.
