H1N1 Influenza Cases Rise in Jammu Region

GMC Jammu recorded 25 H1N1 cases in August, following 11 cases in July, marking a rise in seasonal respiratory infections within the region.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated on August 25 that circulating influenza viruses follow expected seasonal patterns with no evidence of dangerous genetic changes.

Health experts advise individuals with influenza-like symptoms to avoid close contact and seek medical attention, particularly for high-risk groups like the elderly and those with compromised immunity.
